Jerry "Homie" David Pangle

Jerry David “Homie” Pangle, age 59, of White Pine, TN passed away at his home on July 8, 2014. Jerry grew up in Spring Creek, NC and lived many years in the Hot Springs area before moving to White Pine, where he worked in construction. He was the caregiver and companion to Miss Lou Fugate who recently passed away. Jerry had a way of lifting everyone’s spirits with his bubbly personality. His laughter and caring character will be deeply missed by his many friends and family. Jerry is survived by his two children, Tiffany Alise Smith of Morristown and David Lee Pangle (daughter-in-law Sharon) of Asheville, NC; two granddaughters, Heather, age 15, and Emily, age 16 ; brother, Larry Pangle and family of New Jersey; also several aunts and uncles. A graveside inurnment service will be held at a later date at the family cemetery in Spring Creek, NC. There will be a Gathering of Friends on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 5:00pm at Jerry's House.
