Jennie Rainwater

JENNIE RAINWATER, age 94, of Dandridge,TN, passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Dr. E. P. and Malinda Brimer Rainwater. Preceded in death by brother, Clyde Rainwater; sister, Bonnie Kate Ball. Member of Lawsons Chapel United Methodist Church and was a retired elementary school teacher for Jefferson County schools. Survived by foster son, Scott McClure; nephews, Elward and wife, Roselee Ball of Morristown, TN, Jim and Brenda Ball of Dandridge; nieces, Carolyn and husband brownie Lichlyter of Dandridge, Martha and husband Larry Stevick of Apple Valley, MN; several foster grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2004 in the Farrar Funeral Home Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Mike Hensley officiating. Entombment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery.
