Jeffrey Jones

Jeffrey Pate Jones, Sr., age  64 of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 following a long illness.   He was an employee of the Emerald Mines in Mascot and other area zinc mines before his health problems led to his early retirement.  He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Kyle Jones and his sister, Tracy Matthews, and is survived by his beloved wife and caregiver, Lisa (Rimmer) Jones; mother, Nancy Staten; sons, Jeffrey P. Jones, Jr., and Michael (Delinda) Jones and 2 grandchildren, special nephew, Richard Matthews, several nieces and nephews and a host of church family and friends.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, TN.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 2:00pm at the Light House Full Gospel a Place of Hope Church with Rev. Darrell Williams and Bro. David Cate officiating.   The body will be moved to the church to lie in state 1 hour before services.  The graveside interment will follow at Deep Springs Cemetery.
