Jeffery DeWayne Rice

JEFFERY DEWAYNE RICE, age 37, of White Pine, TN, loving son, brother and father, passed away suddenly March 29, 2012 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He devoted his life to helping others as a health care professional. He will always be remembered for his fun loving heart, love of life, quick smile and laughter. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior during Vacation Bible School and was baptized at Green Hill Baptist Church. He was a servant of the Lord for several years, and believed in the Word of God. ?But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.? I Corinthians 15:57. Preceded in death by sister, Lee Ann Rice; grandparents, Delbert and Charlsie Johnson and Banner and Pearl Rice. Survived by daughters, Madison Rice, Beth Rice and Samantha; sons, Patrick Rice and Owen (Peanut) Rice; parents, Dave and Linda Rice of New Market; brothers and sister-in-law, Mark and Danielle Rice of White Pine, TN and Tim Rice of Knoxville; fiancé, Laura Suggs; nieces and nephews, Caitlynn, Haley, Cameron, Maycee, Thomas and Ethan, all of White Pine; friend thought of as a brother, Eric Sims; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Perry Davis officiating. Graveside interment service will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
