Jeannette M. Norris

JEANNETTE M. NORRIS, age 58, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 after a brave battle with breast cancer for five years. Jeannette, an awesome mom and wonderful grandmother, was a native of Luxembourg, Europe, a small country between Belgium, France and Germany; was a devout Christian and a professional seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Marie Martin; brother, Rudy Martin; daughter, Linda Norris; granddaughter, Kionna Phipps. She is survived by her husband, David Norris; daughters and sons-in-law, Gretchen and Will Rivers of Seymour, TN, Connie and Rev. Alex Phipps, Sr. of New Market, TN, Christy and Steve Brittain of California; grandchildren, Daniella and Connellia Norris, Kayla, Caleb, Cameron, Kiarra, Keane, and Caden Phipps, and Stevie Brittain. Wake will be Friday, January 23, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Father Dan Whitman officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
