Jean Virginia Hodge

JEAN VIRGINIA CAMERON HODGE, age 93, of Rutledge, TN passed away peacefully on April 30, 2015. She was born April 19, 1922 to H. F. (Bert) Cameron and Ora Talley Cameron. She was the oldest member of Oakland Baptist Church and was retired from Magnavox. Preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Agnes Watson. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of nearly 68 years, Roy Hodge; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Max Combs; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Bethany and Tommy Morgan; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Morgan and Makayla Morgan; sister, Anna Lee Underwood; nieces, Arnette Underwood and Pat Craig. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Stacey Lawson and Norman Acuff officiating. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Monday morning at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideons Foundation.
