JEAN (DOYLE) GLOVER, age 92, of Jefferson City, TN, the widow of Reverend Edward Glover who died in 1981, passed away Wednesday morning, December 21, 2005 at Life Care Center of Jefferson City. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City since 1966, where she was known for her singing. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Paul and Lucy Glover of Huntsville, AL, David and Sandra Glover of New Market, TN, Mary Edna and Joe Lafata of Detroit, MI, Steve and Joyce Glover of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, April Martin of Haleyville, AL, Greg Glover of Florence, AL, Amy Perdue of Nashville, Eric Lafata of Detroit, Russell Glover and Caroline Glover of Cookeville; one great grandchild, Paul Glover Perdue; several nieces and nephews. A family graveside interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at Westview Cemetery. A memorial worship service will be held at First Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday following the interment service. Per her request, in lieu of live cut flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Jefferson City, 1610 Russell Avenue, Jefferson City, TN 37760, or Carson Newman College, 1646 Russell Avenue, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
