JC Carl Holt

J.C. Carl Holt, age 75 of Morristown passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2017 at UT Medical Center. He was a resident of Chandler House in Jefferson City. He served his country in the US Army from 1964-1966 in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in White Pine and retired from Helm Tool & Die. He was preceded in death by his parents; Connie and Bonnie Holt, sister Christine Holt Rines and wife Joyce Holt. He is survived by his sister; Lorine Arwood, brother; Robert Earl (Janet) Holt, nephew and caregiver, Scott (Karen) Rines, nieces, Kathy Rines, Christy (Alex) Godoy, Patricia (Johnny) Cook, Debra (Gene) Fraley, Annette (Doug) King and Melinda Holt, nephew, David Arwood, several great nephews and great nieces, special friend, Moses Saldana. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, 2:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine with the Rev. Coy Webber and Rev. Don Davis officiating. Military Graveside Interment service will be held in White Pine Cemetery with VFW Post # 5266 officiating following the funeral service. The family would like to express a Special Thank You to the 10th Floor Staff of UT Medical Center and the staff of Chandler House for the excellent care given to JC during his stay.
