JAYNE F. MULLER KUBAS, born in Memphis, TN on March 29, 1940, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023. She was of the Catholic faith and attended Holy Ghost Church. She was a graduate of Knoxville Catholic High School, class of 1958, and attended the University of Tennessee. Jayne was a gifted artist and displayed her work in several local shows and fairs winning many blue ribbons. A horse woman all of her life, she showed her quarter horses in area shows winning a lot of trophies. She was a 2002 retiree from the University of Tennessee, Department of Chemistry. Preceded in death by her parents, George H. Muller, Sr. and Thelma Cox Muller; brothers, George H. Muller, Jr. and Milton E. Muller, Sr.; brother-in-law, Gerald E. Brimer; and nephew, John Avery Brimer. She is survived by her sisters, Virginia Muller Brimer, Nancy Muller (Bill) Fox; nieces, Teresa (Don) Gilmore, Karen (Daryl) Crabtree; nephew, Mark (Robin) Brimer; great-nieces, Allison Gilmore (Corey) Clark, Callie Brimer (Bryan) Badgett, Catherine Crabtree, Anna Crabtree; great-nephews, Daniel (Brandi) Brimer and Avery Crabtree. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church with a funeral to follow with Reverend Bill McNeeley officiating. Family and friends will gather at 2:45p.m. for a 3:00p.m. graveside service Tuesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with pallbearers Mark Brimer, Daniel Brimer, Daryl Crabtree, Avery Crabtree, Bryan Badgett, and Corey Clark.
