Jay Patterson

JAY PATTERSON, age 59 of Dandridge, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He loved riding motorcycles, driving and working on old cars. He was a brick and stone mason for many years. Jay loved to travel and spend time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Frances “Mamaw” Manning; father and mother, (Button) Lillard Patterson and Mary Ann Henderson; step-mother, Myrtle Faye Patterson; love of his life, Susan Scott; brother, Douglas Patterson. He is survived by his children, Jay Borders and Amanda Patterson; special nephew, Jessie Patterson; step-children, Shelia, Cody and Kyle McCrackin; grandchildren, Alexis, Mason, Katie and Madison Borders, Eli Lapage and Kane Patterson, Brandon and Connor McCrackin; brothers, Richard “Red” Patterson, Cleatus Patterson, David “Fatboy” Patterson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends.

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at his residence, 550 Scarlett Road, Dandridge, TN, starting at 12:00pm. Antique cars and motorcycles are more than welcome at the service. The family requests a casual dress code.
