JASPER C. ?JUNIOR? DENTON, JR., age 70, of Dandridge, TN passed away Monday afternoon, January 7, 2013 following a brief illness. He was the son of the late Jasper ?Bass? and Thelma Sutton Denton. Survived by his wife, Carol May Denton; children, Joey (Pauline) Denton, Lisa (Steve) Dixon, , Lori (Timothy) Fowler, Larry (Melody) Pinkston, Teeka (Bill) Noblett, Timothy (Amy) Thomas, Terence (Tracy) Thomas, Tamaria (Randal) Moody, Sheldon (Ashlyn) Thomas; brother, Ikey Denton; sister, Patricia Shults, and was loved by many grandchildren, great-grandchilden, nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral service Wednesday, January 9, 2013, 7:00pm at the Muddy Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jess Sherrod and Rev. Troy Duncan officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Junior Denton Memorial Fund, c/o Farrar Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1025, Dandridge, TN 37725. Interment graveside service, Thursday, 1:00pm at Hills Union Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 5:00 to 7:00pm at the church prior to service.
