JASON ALEX JUROFF, age 42, of Corryton, TN and formerly of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Physicians Regional Medical center following a brief illness. He was assistant manager of Quality Inn Merchants Drive in Knoxville, a job he enjoyed because he loved being able to sometimes help people. He was known by his friends as the “Gentle Giant” who loved to play various games with his friends. “The world has truly lost a wonderful and witty soul.” “A kind being with a fun sense of humor who always gave out good vibes.” Survived by parents, Lyle and Kathy Juroff of Jefferson City; brothers, Matthew Juroff of Knoxville, and Cameron (Mickayla) Juroff of Corryton; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Strickler officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
