Janis Witherspoon

Janis Witherspoon age 74, born Feb. 1, 1946 in Electra, TX. Janis passed on from this earthly home Jan. 19, 2021 to be with her husband Leon Witherspoon. She and Leon Married June 20, 1965. She is survived by her two children Cody Witherspoon and his wife Nancy Witherspoon of New Market, TN and Shay Swanson, and her husband Rual Swanson of Morristown, TN. She also has 6 grandchildren, Brent and Riley Witherspoon and Caleb, Ryan, Tyler, Sidney Swanson. She worked for over 20 years as an administrative assistant with Brodie Buick in Wichita Falls, TX. She has lived a life that was full of love and joy. She was a person that was willing to always help, and had a heart the size of TX. She will truly be missed by those who know her and love her. She will be laid to rest in Dundee Cemetery February 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM in Holiday, TX next to her husband Leon Witherspoon.
