Janice Lynn (Jan) Sanders Wood

Janice Lynn Sanders (Jan) Wood, age 67, of Jefferson City, TN passed away 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 following a lingering illness. She was a loving, beautiful, wonderful wife. Jan and her husband, W.C. Wood, were married 38 wonderful years and were the best of friends to each other. They were still so much in love with each other after all those years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucy Mary Ann Sanders and Millard (Pete) Sanders; brother: Charles Sanders; and sisters, Marion Keopke, Lola Cunningham and Irene Miller. She is survived by her husband, W.C. Wood; sons, David Millington and Chuck (Diana) Wood; grandson, Ashton (Boo) Millington; sisters, Ann (Joe) Maples and Barbara (Bobby) Whitt. A very special daughter to her was Kim Millington. Funeral Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 from Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Gardner and Rev. Jerry Wood officiating. Family and friends will gather 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment.
