Janice Carol Allen

ALLEN, JANICE CAROL - age 60, of White Pine, TN passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. Janice was born May 30, 1950. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of White Pine, where she was active in the choir for over 30 years and a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Janice graduated from Morristown High School in 1968 and attended Tennessee Technology Center. She was a bookkeeper in the family business for 23 years until she retired in 1991. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, and cousin. She was a blessing to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Howard and Elva Allen, Anna Lou Graves Moyers Graves, and Andy Moyers; uncle, Arnold Allen; and aunt, June Allen. She is survived by her parents, Robert Carroll and Eula Moyers Allen; brother, William Steven Allen, and wife, Carol; niece, Erica Allen Henegar and husband, Travis; niece, Stephanie Kirsten Allen; aunt, Edith Allen; cousin, Eddie Allen; cousin, Linda Fleenor and husband, Jack; cousin, Jim Allen; and numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of White Pine. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Earl Wilson and Rev. Brian Osborne officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning at Hamblen Memory Gardens Mausoleum for an 11:00 a.m. graveside entombment service.
