Far from ordinary, Janet was a courageous woman with a resilient spirit and a vibrant personality. She loved, worried, laughed and allowed life to affect her. Born in Plainwell, MI, she held residence throughout the US and Germany and eventually made her home in N. Richland Hills, TX. She married Mikel Justice on April 9, 1995. Together they raised four beautiful children with love. After raising her family, she began her career as an educator for North Ridge Middle School to satisfy her nurturing personality. Whether her family, friends, or students, their needs superseded her own. Upon retiring, she moved to Dandridge, TN and along with her soul mate "Mikie", they built their dream home. Jan departed this world after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Jan was preceded in death by her father, Irwin "Bunker" Hill. She is survived by her husband, Mike Justice, who she credits with teaching her how to live; son and daughter-in-law, David and Ashley Klappholz of Knoxville, TN, son and partner, Eric Klappholz and Roberto de la Cruz of Dallas, TX, daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and John Arnspiger of Fort Worth, TX, and daughter, Jenny Justice of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Brian Arnspiger, Lauren Klappholz and Hayden Klappholz; mother, Mary Hill of Pharr, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and John Melnyk of Oscoda, MI; brother and sister-in-law, Mickey and Sue Hill of Bedford, TX; sister, Colleen Kirkpatrick and Preston Roberts of Tulsa, OK. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Gardens, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX.
