Janet Lynn Coldiron Carter, age 68, of New Market, TN was called home March 4, 2024 peacefully surrounded by her family. She loved to spend her time camping and loved animals. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Marie Coldiron; and sister, Sue Smith. She is survived by her husband, Mikel Carter; son, Matthew (Ranessa) Peirot; daughter, Madison (Gavin Sizemore) Carter; grandchildren, Nic and Saiya Peirot; brother, Doug (Julie) Coldiron; sister, Nell; favorite uncle, Lee Roy Watson; and other family members. The family will receive friends Friday, March 8, 2024 from 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City with a 2:00p.m. service to follow with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating.
