Jane Hance Hutton, 77, passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2018. Jane was born in Dandridge and graduated from Maury High School. She attended Saint Mary's nursing school and worked as a nurse until 1988. Jane was a member of First United Methodist Church in White Pine where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Jane had a very active life and was an excellent bowler and avid golfer. She had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh that will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by parents Ben and Mary Hance, sister Ruth Hinton, and brother George "Buck" Hance.
She is survived by loving husband of over 33 years, Bob Hutton; and son Clif (Rhonda) Hance; step-daughters, Yvette Hutton and Courtney (Ryan) Tucker; grandchildren, Logan (Natalie) Hance and Avery Tucker; siblings, Lorene Hance, Gladys (Bill) Poe, Jack (Ruth) Hance, Jean (Kenneth) Cureton, Shirley (Jerry) Hartsell, Kaye (Dana) Teele; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to April Shipley, Jane's personal caregiver for the past five years.
The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church from 4-6pm on March 4, 2018 with the funeral service immediately following. Family and friends should meet at the funeral home at 10:00am on Monday, March 5, 2018 for the processional to Hills Union Cemetery for the 11:00am Graveside Interment.
