James C. Woods

JAMES C. WOODS, JR. (J. C.), age 70, of Talbott, TN passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 after battling a lingering illness. He was a member of Community Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by father, James Woods, Sr., and brother, Ronald D. Woods. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elaine (Bradley) Woods; and sons, Jason K. Woods, Dwayne C. Woods and wife Diane, all of Talbott; mother, Juanita Woods of Talbott; brother, Charles Woods and wife Joan of Oak Ridge; sister, Carolyn Fox and husband Carroll of Bybee; granddaughters, Cassie Collins (Travis), Megan Tolson (Steven), and Ashley Woods; great-grandchildren, Adyson, Brooklyn, Jaden and Jayce; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Avery Turley and Rev. William Bradley officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
