James Fred Watkins

James Frederic Watkins, age 89, of Morristown, passed away 8:25pm Tuesday, January 6, 2004 following an extended illness. Member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. Veteran of W.W. II having served in the U.S. Army. Retired from Southern Railway with over 30 years of service. Preceded in death by wife: Reamae Watkins; Parents: Albert and Dora Watkins, Brothers: Albert, Gene, and Jasper Watkins. Survived by Daughter and Son-In-Law: Lorna and John Horner of Morristown. Son: Ronald R. Watkins of Charleston, S.C.; Granddaughter: Abilgail Horner and Grandson: Ryan Watkins. Sister: Mary Northern and Brother: Wayne Watkins both of Talbott. Several Nieces and Nephews. Special friend: Shae Macaulay of Morristown. Funeral services 2:00pm Friday, January 9, 2004 at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church (Talbott) with Reverend John Wells officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm prior to the Funeral Services.
