JAMES WALTER “J.W.” FOSTER, JR., age 70, of Morristown, TN passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 at home. Preceded in death by wife of 50 years, Linda Sue Foster; brother, Allen Foster; parents, James Walter Foster, Sr. and Helen Foster. He was retired from NCR after 40 years of service. Survived by daughters, Sharee Long and Shannon Hefner; grandchildren, Connor Long, Jansen Long and Macey Hefner; brothers, Steve Foster (Vonda), Ronnie Foster, John Foster and Arnold Foster; sister, Darlene York (Drew); several nieces and nephews; special thank you to caregivers, Pat Rice and Avalon Hospice. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Nelson officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Cate Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
