Survived by wife of 51 years, Bernice H. Wagner; son and daughter-in-law, James E. Wagner, Jr. and Mary, and their children. Mr. Wagner was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Air Force. A private memorial service will be held at Jarnigan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37909.
