James D. Sutton

James D. Sutton, of White Pine, TN passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Newport Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Herman Sutton and Rosie Greene Sutton; and his wife, Barbara Jean Patty Sutton. He is survived by his brother, Edgar Sutton of Morristown; daughter, Cathy (Trent) Duponte of Maryville; son, Jeff (Tammy) Sutton of Orange Park, FL; and daughter, Sammi (Tommy) Winstead of White Pine; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of friends. The family would like to express a special Thank You to Deborah Whitaker for the special care she has given him over the past couple of years. They would also like to thank Dr. Thomas Conway and Lindsey Brown Henderson FNP for their continued care for many years. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the: White Pine Senior Citizens Center, 1824 Maple Street, White Pine, TN 37890. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, 7:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service.
