James Milburn Strange

James Milburn Strange, 82, went to be with his savior on November 16, 2020. He was born in Cocke County on June 30, 1938 to Mack and Ola Strange. He was a member and trustee of Leadvale Missionary Baptist Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Anderson “Beetle” Strange and J. D. Strange and his sisters Mildred Kelley and Joyce Williams. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lille Faye “Billie” Strange, his daughters Judith (James) Muncy and Laura (Bryan Mowry) Strange, his grandchildren, who were the lights of his life, Kirsten Clark and Jordan Clark, and many other family and friends. His body will lie in state from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM on Friday, November 20, 2020 at White Pine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, dontations may be made to Leadvale Missionary Baptist Church. In consideration of the health and safety of all those attending the services, Farrar Funeral Home strongly encourages all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of social distancing and facemasks.
