JAMES MICHAEL PATTY, age 63, of New Market, TN passed away Friday, November 26, 2010 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a retired veteran of the US Marines Corps and the Blount County Sheriff Department. Survived by wife, Juanita Patty; son, Ralph Â?SkipÂ? Strong; step-children, Robin Tolliver and Sue Rickard; sister, Melissa Hale; brother, Larry Patty; grandchildren, Carson and Taylor Strong, Amanda Collins; great-grandchildren, Kaiden Collins; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Howell officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Westview Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
