James A. Newcomb

JAMES A. NEWCOMB, age 73, of the Chestnut Hill Community of Dandridge, TN passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was a retired employee of Bush Bros. & Co. and was preceded in death by wife of 44 years, Josie Newcomb; son, Mark Newcomb; parents, William and Flora Belle Newcomb; brothers, Buddy, Randy and Johnny; sisters, Dora, Tiny, Nellie, Mary and Barbara. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Luke and Debbie Newcomb; granddaughters, Traci Rauhuff, Michelle Boyer, Tammy Evans and Ashley Newcomb; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Callie Jones and Joan Ellison of Knoxville, Helen Swain of Louisiana and Becky Tinsley of Missouri. Funeral services, Friday, February 28, 2014, 10:30am at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Davis officiating. Interment to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday evening 5:00 to 7:00pm at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
