He was a member of Mt. Vale Church of God and a retired truck driver with 45 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Hubert and Hattie (Hubbard) Miller; brothers, Junior Miller and Edward Miller; sister, Dolly Spires; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Ailene Lawless. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Louise Miller; sons, Ronald Miller of Georgia, Russell (Betty) Miller of Erwin, TN, Mickey Miller of Jefferson City, TN, Robbie (Shirley) Massengill of Talbott, TN and Larry (Kim) Massengill of New Haven, KY; daughters, Karen (Eddie) Williams of Morristown, TN, Doris (Sissie) Massengill of Jefferson City, TN; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; special granddaughter, Dusty Massengill; special great granddaughter, Alyson Collier; sisters, Katherine and Gerald of White Pine, TN, Ethel and Doyle of Morristown, TN; brothers, Jerry (Sonja) Miller of Morristown, TN, Dee (Linda) of Morristown, TN, Harrell (Charlotte) Miller of Knoxville, TN; special aunt, Helen Cox;several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends; very special friends, Hal Thomas and James Bradley; special caregivers, loving wife, Louise and niece, Michelle, of Kentucky; and many friends. Special thanks to Dr. Emmett Manley and staff and Edie Lawless, who sang so sweetly and comforting. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Mt. Vale Church of God with Reverend T. H. Ferrell, Reverend Tony Collins and Reverend Bertie Hensley officiating. Pallbearers will be Eddie Williams, Kenny Pollard, Leroy Lawless, Rob Judy, Harlan Gibbons, Matt Hudgens, Jody Dockery and Joey Morgan. Interment to follow at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
