James Sanford Ledford

James S. Ledford (Pigeon), age 75 of Talbott, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. He attended Mt. Vale Church of God and worked at Magnavox for 38 years and taxidermy for 39 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Ledford and mother, Margaret Ledford; sister, Viola (Kenny) Lewis, sister, Cheryl Collier. Survived by his wife, Linda Thomas Ledford; daughter, Christy (Tony) Morris: son, Dale (Leigh Anne) Gregg; granddaughter, Brooke (Scott) Moody; grandson, T. K. (Melanie) Morris; sister, Tammy (Steve) Mitchell; brother-in-law, Henry Collier; stepson, Rodney (Kass) Sexton; brother-in-law, Walter Thomas; sisters-in-law, Lois Patterson, Mona Ausmus, Janice Ivy; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give thanks to Amedisys Home Health Care and Amedisys Hospice for all their care. 

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine, with the Rev. T. H. Ferrell officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside Interment service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, 11:00 a.m. in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Jefferson City, Tennessee.
