James Howard Lane

James Howard Lane age 77, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born in Knoxville, TN, graduated Carter High School, and worked for Alcoa Aluminum for 15 plus years. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Rufus and Lennie Lane, brothers, J.D., Dean, Don, and his sisters, Margaret, Mary, Betty, and Alice. He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his wife, Rhyma, daughters, Debbie (Dennis) Carper, Donna (Robert) Wheeless, grandson, Drew Jenkins, brother, Ferd Lane, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Dandridge with Dr. Robert Brown and Dr. Justin Terrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the church. The family request in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
