James W. "J.W." Stansberry

JAMES W. ?J.W.? STANSBERRY, age 84 of Dandridge passed away Saturday morning, April 21, 2012 at the Chandler House of Jefferson City. He was born January 8, 1928 in Grainger Co., TN the son of the late Liburn and Effie Roach Stansberry. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. Following his retirement he moved to Dandridge, where he enjoyed the many friends he had met while working part-time at Dandridge Classic Flowers. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Stansberry of Lenoir City; one granddaughter; sisters, Judy Hogan of Morristown, Sue Swann and Betty Cain, both of New Market, Katherine Rickard and Barbara Trent, both of Strawberry Plains, and Leona Lewis of Knoxville; brothers, Ed Stansberry of New Market, Fred and Everette Stansberry of Strawberry Plains, L.R. Stansberry, Jr. of Talbott; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services Monday, 2:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Colbert officiating. Following the service the family and friends will meet at 3:30pm at Strawberry Plains Cemetery for the graveside interment service.Family will receive friends, Monday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00pm prior to the funeral service.
