JAMES KENNETH “JIMMY” HALE, age 81, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at home on January 28, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was retired from Asarco, attended Cherokee Hills Baptist Church, and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was also an avid walking horse trainer and owner/trainer of Jimmy Hale Stables. Preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Mildred Haworth Hale; and sister, Alene Hale. He is survived by his children, Jamie Hale and Tina Hale of Jefferson City; grandson, Dr. Ryan Hale of Flagstaff, AZ; sister, Iva Spoon Wilde; brother, Robert Hale (Becky); special cousin, Buddy Ruth Franklin; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; mother of his children, Shirley Webster Hale; special grandson, Bryar Cross; extended family, Helen Cross Hale and her family. Special thanks to his nurse, Angie for her loving care. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Farrar Funeral home. Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. Nathan Livingston officiating. Private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tennova Hospice or American Cancer Society.
