(JIM) SATTERFIELD, age 80, of Talbott, TN, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006. He was a member of Talbott Cumberland Presbyterian Church and served in Germany during WW II as sergeant with the 6th Armored Infantry Division. He was also a graduate of the University of Tennessee and retired as a civil engineer from TVA after 34 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, John E. and Mary Jennings Satterfield; brother, Jay W. Satterfield; sisters, Helen Satterfield, Eilma J. Nicley, Evelyn Nicely and Ruth Ritter. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jane Marshall Satterfield; son and daughter-in-law, John D. and Mitzie Quarles Satterfield of Collierville, TN and daughter; Jennifer M. Satterfield of Nashville, TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. at Talbott Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Richard Snowden officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service with military honors.
