James "Jim" Pridgen

James (Jim) Pridgen of Newport,TN was welcomed into the kingdom of God on May 10, 2016. Jim was well loved by all. He worked & retired as a first class welder. While in retirement, he became known for his deer antler knives that he handcrafted. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years Martha (Cochran) Pridgen, son Shane (Susan) Pridgen, daughter Patty (Gordie) Till and 5 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016, 2:00pm in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, AL, with the Rev. Chris Ray officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12-2:00pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside Interment will be held in Wolf Ridge Cemetery following the funeral.
