OBITUARY:
JAMES HOMER (JAY) OGLE, age 83, of Dandridge, TN, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Rose and Chris Dotson. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the Army Air Forces Base Unit as a gunnery instructor and was retired from Bush Brothers after many years of service as a truck driver. He was of the Baptist faith and will be sadly missed. Preceded in death by his mother and father, Homer and Emma Ogle; infant sisters, Margaret and Charlott; brother, Carroll Ogle. He is survived by his wife, Eva Ogle; daughters and sons-in-law, Rose and Chris Dotson of Dandridge, Barbara and Mark Roach of Morristons; grandchildren, Joseph and James Cate of Dandridge, Heather and Danny Harrison of Talbott, Tammy and Chris Nelson, Shane Mason and Casey Roach of Morristown, Shannon Mason of Strawplains, and Shawn and Tonnie Mason of Knoxville; great grandchildren, Kyler Harrison, Cody Nelson, Amanda, Ashlynn, Alonna and Elliott Mason; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Roy Brown of Dandridge; sister-in-law, Mary Ogle of Pigeon Forge and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2006 at Farrar Funeral Home Dandridge Chapel with Dr. Robert McCray officiating. Interment graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at Pigeon Forge Baptist Church Cemetery in Pigeon Forge, TN. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
