James Alan Gray

James Alan Gray, age 70 of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at UT Hospital in Knoxville. He proudly served 20 years and 3 months in the Air Force. Jim served as Deacon at Central Heights Baptist Church, Dandridge, TN. He loved the Lord with all his heart and made sure to spread the word of God to everyone. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edwin and Vaudine Gray; brother, “Buddy” Gray. Jim is survived by his wife, Betty Gray; daughter, Ashlee Hurtt (Adam); 4 grandsons, Aaron, Adam Jr. (A.J.), Jacob and Jace; sister, Frances Parker and he leaves many good friends. Services will be held, Monday, December 30, 2019, 2:00pm at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy., Knoxville, TN.
