James Donald "Don" Vittetoe

JAMES DONALD "DON" VITTETOE, age 80, of Dandridge, TN and formerly of Powell, TN passed away Wednesday morning, June 27, 2012. He was the son of the late Basil and Marie Vittetoe and was preceded in death by his brother, J. Vittetoe. He attended Swann's Chapel Baptist Church and was the owner and operator of J & D Home Improvements for over 50 years. Don enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Wanda Humphrey Vittetoe; children, james Donald Vittetoe, Jr. and wife Rhonda, Larry Wayne Vittetoe and wife Luisa, and Johnny Dwain Vittetoe; grandchildren, Jennifer Martin, Chris, Justin, Tyler and Jared Vittetoe; great-grandchildren, Ensley, Shannon and Bradley; sister, Dot Goosey; brothers, david Vittetoe and Gene Vittetoe; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, John Davenport. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Randy Haun and Rev. Robert Humphrey officiating. Interment graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Asbury Cemetery in Knoxville, Tn.
