He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from IPI Corporation (formerly Enka and BASF) with 38 years of service. Preceded in death by his father, Paul Collins. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Linda Sue (Swann) Collins; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and John Kyker of Morristown, Misty and Chancey Gray of Jefferson City; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Christy Collins of Bean Station; son, Randy Collins of Morristown; grandchildren, Madison, Dylan, Brandon, Camryn, Colby and Owen; mother, Jennie Vee Collins of Jefferson City; sisters, Oda Vee Reagan of Jefferson City, Betty Sane of Jefferson City, Joyce Shaver of White Pine; brother, Don Collins of Jefferson City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2006 from Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating. Family and friends will gather at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2006 at the funeral home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 3:00 p.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
