He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Lelah Collier and brother, Lowell Dean Collier. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Collier; sons, Doug Collier, Bill Collier and wife, Lisa; daughter, Karen Collier; grandson, John Collier and wife, Michelle; great grandson, Evan Collier; sister, Sherrill Hill; brother, Glenn Collier and wife, Doris, all of Jefferson City; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service with Reverend Kyle Cate officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2007 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
