JAMES T. ?J.T.? CHAMBERS, age 91 of Dandridge joined his late wife in Eternal Rest on July 21, 2021. He was one of the oldest members of Grant?s Chapel United Methodist Church and a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Magnavox and then worked for Jefferson Farmers Coop, retiring at age 88. He enjoyed farming, spending time in the fields and raising cattle and hogs. He is preceded in death by his wife Imogene Breeden Chambers; his parents, L.J. (Dink) and Cora Chambers; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth ?Blue? and Betty Chambers and grandson-in-law, Charlie Williams. He is survived by son, Rev. Darrell Chambers; granddaughter, Tahra Williams; great-grandson, Lawson Williams; sisters, Wilma Reneau and Peggy (Bill) Fain; brother, R.A. ?Doc? (Jo Ann) Chambers, several nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, Elmer and Dorinda Hilburn and all the employees of Jefferson Farmers Coop. Graveside funeral services will be Sunday, July 25, 2021, at 2:00pm at Grant?s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Vanessa Wallace, Rev. Bill Rimmer and Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating with Military Honors. Friends may call at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00pm.
