JAMES H. ADAMS, JR. age 56, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Friday morning, September 19, 2003 at his home. He was a member of the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church and was U.S. Army retired, being a veteran of Vietnam and Desert Storm, and was pesently serving as vice president of UXO Division, American Technologies Inc. of Oak Ridge. He is survived by his wife, Annie Ramsey Adams; sons, Jim Adams of Washington, DC, scott Adams and wife Regina of Jefferson City and Kenny Adams and wife, Leslie of Dandridge; granddaughters, Elissa, Reggie, Christy, Kendra and kKlsie Adams; brothers, Jerry Adams of OR, Gary Adams of Knoxville, Charles Lunsford of OK, Lawrence Lunsford of Powell; sister, Cheri Benge of Virginia; step father, Charles C. Lunsford of Powell; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Sunday, 3 p.m. at the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Lichlyter and Rev. Rose Mincey officiating. Interment to follow in Hills Union Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday, 1 until 3 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
