Jackie Darrell Woods

Jackie “Darrell” Woods, a devoted father and lifelong farmer, horse trader and friend in the White Pine Community has passed away at his home on Saturday, May 10, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents; Jack and Anna B. Woods, brothers: Ray, Larry and Jeffrey Woods. Survivors include his two sons; D.J. and Jack Woods of White Pine; sisters, Diane and Grady Lamb of White Pine, Jan and Jeff Day of Bean Station; brothers, Mike and Debbie Woods and Dennis and Cathy Woods, all of Mohawk; also special friends, Linda and Ricky Marshall of Bybee. The family would like to express a special Thank You to the nurses of Smokey Mountain Hospice and the nurses at the Cancer Center at UT in Morristown. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. William Bradley and Rev. David Wheeler officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, 11:00am in Dandridge Memorial Gardens. Family, friends and pallbearers will gather at the funeral home at 10:30am to proceed to cemetery for the graveside service.
