Member of 5th Avenue Baptist Church in Knoxville and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was retired from Treadway Brothers Refrigeration Company. Survived by wife, C. Marie Holmes of Blaine; sons, Brian and Steve Holmes of South Carolina; daughter, Leigh of South Carolina; three grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas (Mac) and Sandra Gail Corn of Hendersonville, North Carolina; beloved friend, Tyler T. According to his request, no service is planned. Friends may call at their convenience at the family home.
