Jack Benjamin Romines

Jack Benjamin Romines, age 80 of White Pine, TN passed away at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems on Monday, January 13, 2013 after a lingering illness. He is retired from Lenzing Fibers and was a member of Edwards Chapel United Methodist Church, where he was one of the oldest members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Grace Morie Romines; brothers, Quinton, James, Harold “Woody” and Dennis Romines; sisters, Helen Allen, Mary Hart and Joann Fain. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bobbie Jean Romines; son, Russell (Jill) Romines of Morristown; daughter, Valerie Romines of Joneboro; and son, Mike (Ellen) Romines of Dandridge; grandchildren, Ben and Kelly Romines, Stephanie Baldwin; great-grandson, Wyatt Baldwin; sisters, Hazel Rimmer and Barbara Sue Franklin; also several nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014, 7:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, with the Rev. Charles Shipley and Rev. Bud Cagle officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment will be on Friday, January 17, 2014, 1:00 pm in White Pine Cemetery. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Edwards Chapel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 272, White Pine, TN 37890.
