Jack D. Roberson, age 75, of White Pine, TN and formerly of Candler, NC, went to be with his Lord on June 5, 2011 surrounded by his family at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a proud American. Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he will be greatly missed at the local flea markets and gun shows by his many friends and fellow traders, ?Jack was always trading something.? He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Edna Cathie Roberson; daughter, Deborah Roberso;, three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife, Laura ?Doodle? Roberson; children, Reggie (Michelle) Herndon, Dewayne (Melody) Roberson and Kevin (Jamie) Roberson; grandchildren, Boone, Shelby, Chase, Tyler, Natalie, Eli and Joe Roberson, Jessica Yarborough, Laura Herndon and Colby Ross; brother, James Ray Roberson; several nieces, nephews and other family members. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00pm on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. The family will proceed to White Pine Cemetery following the visitation for a 3:00pm military graveside service with the Tennessee Army National Guard Funeral Honors Team and Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Serving as pallbearers for Jack will be Benny Denton, Andy Taylor, Chase Roberson, Boone Roberson, Colby Ross and Travis Hall.
