JONES, age 53, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Alpha Baptist Church. Preceded in death by brother, Sam Jones and grandfather, W. H. Lackey. He is survived by two sons, Sean Jones and Chris Jones of Foley, Alabama; grandson, Conner of Alabama; mother, Jean Jones of Jefferson City; grandmother, Willie D. Lackey; sisters, Sherrie DeVries and Mary Ann Gray; aunt, Sue Bird; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside interment service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Reverend Chris Howell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge before proceeding to the cemetery for the service.
