JACK DAVID "J.D." LYONS, age 28, of White Pine, TN passed away Friday, March 14, 2008 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center as the result of injuries sustained in a pedestrian and train accident. J. D. had attended the Tennessee School for the Deaf and was an avid sports fan who enjoyed following the Vols and the Colts. As a result of this accident, he was an organ donor that will benefit many other lives. Preceded in death by grandparents, Jack and Pauline Lyons and Byron and Sylvia Luster, Sr.; uncle, David (Pete) McGinnis; cousin, Randa Luster. He is survived by father and mother, David and Paula Luster of White Pine; sister and brother-in-law, Nikki and Mark Lane of Newport; sister, Kelly Luster of White Pine; grandmother, Phyllis Lyons; aunts and uncles, Jane McGinnis, Carol Patterson, George Patterson, Mark Luster, Barbara and Robert Shelton, Byron Jr., and Lisa Luster; nephews, Christian Hester and Landon Lane; niece, Autumn Lane; and several great aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Brian Rines, Kelly Talley, Brad Ball, Josh Smith, Brad Shelton, Shawn Sprose and Charlie Letterman; and a friend to everyone he met. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dewayne White, Cindy Anderson, Tina Ryan and Ed Eckenrod (TN Donor Services) for their care and compassion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Rev. Bran Osborne officiating. Interment to follow at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
