Jack L. Greene

JACK L. GREENE, age 77, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 at Morristown Hamblen Health System after a battle with cancer. He was a 1952 graduate of Jefferson High School and was of the Baptist faith. Jack was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, having served during the Korean Conflict in Yokusaka, Japan, a former employee of TVA Steam Power Plant Operations, and retired in 2001 as owner of Greene?s Industrial Control Service in Marianna, Florida. Preceded in death by parents, Arthur R. Greene, Sr. and Ocie Burns Greene; brothers, Arthur, Jr. and Ed; sister, Ocie Malone (Dana). He is survived by his daughter, Linda Ray of Georgia; sister, Evelyn Manly Foster of Jefferson City, Ruth McDaniel of Knoxville; sisters-in-law, Naomi Greene, Louise Greene McDaniel, both of Jefferson City; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Military graveside service will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
