Jack B. Franklin

JACK B. FRANKLIN, age 85 of Collierville, TN, formerly of Dandridge, TN, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2005. He was a retired insurance claims attorney and former owner of Dickens and Challen of Memphis, Inc. Jack was a member and historian of Evergreen Presbyterian Church, member of the West Tennessee Historical Society and was a U.S. Naval officer, serving in the Pacific Theatre and was a survivor of the Battle of Peleiu. Preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth Franklin (2003); sister, Jessie Felknor; and brother, Hood Franklin. Survivors include his sons, Robert and David Franklin, both of Memphis; grandsons, Phillip and Clark Franklin; sister-in-law, Lucy Franklin of Dandridge; and several nieces and nephews.
