J. P. Osborne

J. P. Osborne, age 81 of Morristown, TN passed away on Monday morning, December 2, 2002 at the Veterans Hospital in Mountain Home after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Birdie E. Osborne; son, Marvin; parents, Jesse C. and Maude Pack Osborne; sisters, Edna and Edith Osborne. He was a retired employee of BASF and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Allen Roberts of Morristown; grandchildren, Terry Williams of Morristown, Shawn Sneed of Mich. and Wendy Brooks of Sneedville; 3 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers in law, Louise and Bruce Samples, Lena Mae and L. S. Gorman, Helen Osborne, all of White Pine and Mary Ellen Jordan of Jefferson City; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. prior to the services. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday morning at the White Pine Cemetery for the interment services.
