J.T. (JACK) HENSHAW, age 78, of New Market, TN passed away February 1, 2010 at his home. He retired from Asarco Mines with 32 years of service. He was the proud son of the late Jim and Betty Henshaw, and was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo. Proud to serve his country, he enlisted in both the Marines and the Army and saw combat in the Korean War, reflecting upon his service with great pride. As gentle as he was strong, he was an avid gardener who loved fishing, hunting, woodworking and just being outdoors. A wonderful mentor and teacher who loved spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his children, Barbara and Michael Wood, Marilyn and David Miles, Sherry and Bill Elmore, Randy and Tammy Henshaw, Sheila and Ralph Kline, Darrell and Lisa Henshaw, Stacy and Kim Henshaw , Cynthia and Michael Nelson; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Pauline Bruner and Nell Steadman; and brother, Robert Henshaw. We wish to express a special thank you to the gals at Thompson Radiation Oncology for making Dad smile and to Louise Stallings, a dear friend and neighbor. To our dear Dad who had a way of making everyone feel special, we could never express how deeply we love you. Say ?hi? to Mom for us.
